MOIS THEMATIQUE : Géométrie complexe

du 28 janvier au 1ier Mars 2019 au CIRM, Luminy.

par Christophe Mourougane - publié le , mis à jour le

The last years have seen important developments in the understanding of the geometry of complex algebraic varieties, and more generally Kählerian varieties. This session will aim at gathering experts at an international scale on very active areas of research : birational geometry and Hodge theory, singular metrics, hyperbolicity, surfaces of general type. This will be an opportunity to encourage young researchers to get involved in these promising developments.

The month will start with A Master Class (January 28th - February 1st) for young researchers with lectures on :
- Hodge Theory
- K3 surfaces
- Special curvature metrics on manifolds

This will be followed with 4 conferences :
February 4-8, 2019, Singular metrics in complex Kähler geometry
February 11-15, 2019, Birational geometry and Hodge theory
February 18-22, 2019, Entire curves, rational curves and foliations
February 25 - March 1, 2019, Ball quotient surfaces and lattices

More information about these events can be found at

Registration for the programme is free but mandatory.
Important : the deadline for pre-registration is November 1rst, 2018.
